Shameze Rampertab

Shameze is Canaccord’s biotech financial analyst and a 1992 MBA grad from McMaster. He has an undergrad degree in molecular biology from the U of T and also is a CA. He will provide an overview for the students and faculty on what is happening in the biotech/healthcare field and the opportunities for new start-ups in the area. He will then be there for the entire time to answer questions and provide advice. Canaccord is the largest independent investment bank in Canada. While the company is not a VC, it works with a number of VCs and would be willing to help students connect with sources of capital, if needed.
